Latisse®

There is no shortage of products on the market today that claim to give you “longer and full eyelashes”. Unfortunately, most of these are scams and less than truthful. This is why Dr. Paquet recommends and prescribes LATISSE®, the only FDA approved product that gives you longer, thicker, darker eyelashes in a matter of a few weeks.

LATISSE® works by prolonging the growth rate of the eyelashes, resulting in a higher concentration and increased number of lashes. The product is extremely easy to use. Using a small brush applicator, you apply LATISSE® to the lashes at night. In a matter of 4-8 weeks you will notice longer, fuller lashes. Once you reach your ideal length and thickness, you will simply maintain your lashes appearance by applying the product once or twice a week.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question - What does LATISSE® do?

LATISSE is a topical medication that when applied results in increased growth and enhancement of your natural eyelashes. Results are generally seen 4-8 weeks after the product is started, and full results are typically seen after 12 weeks. Once the ideal eyelash length and thickness is reached, most people generally require a maintenance dose of once to twice per week.

Question - What about all the other eyelash products on the market?

LATISSE® is the first and only treatment approved by the FDA for natural eyelash enhancement. Most of the other eyelash products on the market are either eyelash conditioners or false products.

Question - What about color or pigment changes from using LATISSE®?

Increased brown iris pigmentation was initially reported when LATISSE® was used to treat increased intraocular pressure/glaucoma (which was how they officially discovered that it increased eyelash length and density). However, the dose required for the treatment of glaucoma was 20x that which is used for eyelash growth. In addition, the effect was only seen when the drops were applied directly onto the eye itself. To date there have been no cases of iris pigment changes with LATISSE® used for eyelash growth.

Question - Can I use LATISSE® if I wear contacts?

Yes. You should remove your contacts prior to administration, and they may be reinserted 10-15 minutes after treatment.
