Non-Surgical Facelift

As we grow older, the effects of time and age become evident in the form of wrinkles and skin creases. Our tissues lose their elasticity and begin to sag. We also lose volume in the face and begin to hollow. For those who would prefer not to undergo surgery, a non-surgical facelift is an excellent option.

Much like a surgical facelift, the goal of a non-surgical facelift is to rejuvenate the face and reverse the signs of aging by:

  • Reducing fine lines and wrinkles
  • Restoring volume in those areas of the face that are lacking
  • Improving the quality of the skin – reducing sun spots, pigment changes, sun damage
  • Lifting and camouflaging the areas of skin laxity that are telltale signs of aging

In order to accomplish these goals, Dr. Christian Paquet uses a combination of several non-invasive procedures and techniques including:

  • Neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport)
  • Dermal Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, etc.)
  • Fat Dissolvers
  • Skin Tightening/Qualitative Improvement Procedures

With Dr. Paquet’s specialized treatment combination, you can reveal a younger-looking you within a single visit to the office. And the best part about it is that you achieve a new, improved, more youthful appearance without the downtime necessary with surgery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question - What is a non-surgical facelift?

A non-surgical facelift is a cosmetic facial rejuvenation procedure designed to provide a youthful, vibrant appearance to your face using a combination of non-surgical procedures. Combining the use of neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport), dermal fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, etc.), fat dissolvers, skin tightening technologies, and qualitative skin improvement procedures, you will look years younger without ever having to go under the knife.

Question - What can be corrected with a non-surgical facelift?

A non-surgical facelift works to reverse many of the telltale signs of aging. It can be used to improve the appearance of the jowls and lift the corners of the mouth. It restores lost volume in the cheeks as well as the hollowness that occurs around the eyes. Facial folds such as those in the nasolabial area are softened. Fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and in the forehead are reduced. Lastly, the quality of the skin is addressed with varying skin tightening and texturing devices.

Question - Who is a good candidate for a non-surgical facelift?

Anybody with noticeable wrinkles, fine lines, loss of facial volume, excess fat under the chin, and qualitative skin damage is likely a great candidate for a non-surgical facelift. However, depending on the severity of these issues, there are some cases where a non-surgical procedure may not be adequate to bring about the desired change, in which case Dr. Paquet will discuss your surgical options.

Question - How long does a non-surgical facelift last?

Unlike surgical facelifts, which permanently reverse the signs of aging, results after a non-surgical facelift last anywhere from six months to over a year. However, these procedures do not take nearly as long, do not involve surgery, and have a significantly shorter recovery time.

Question - When will I see my results and what is the recovery time?

Because a non-surgical facelift utilizes minimally invasive techniques and treatments, recovery is generally quick, with most patients returning to normal everyday activities right away. You will experience the most swelling in the first 1-2 days, and slight swelling may last for up to 5 days. While you will see results immediately after your treatment, final results may take several weeks to fully materialize.
