Browlift (Forehead Lift)

As we age, the skin and muscle of the forehead loses elasticity and begins to droop. This results in more pronounced frown lines, deeper wrinkles in the forehead, and heavy or low-appearing eyebrows. These changes often give patients a tired or angry facial expression. In order to improve this, a browlift provides an excellent solution.

In contrast to older browlift techniques, which involved a large incision across the entire scalp, Dr. Christian Paquet employs a more modern endoscopic approach with several small incisions hidden within the hair. Through these incisions, an endoscope (lighted camera) is used to help tighten the loose skin of the forehead, lift the drooping eyebrows, and improve the forehead wrinkles. This results in a refreshed and youthful appearance, opening up the area around the eyes.

To determine whether you are a good candidate for this procedure, Dr. Paquet recommends a private, personal consultation and evaluation. To schedule a consultation please call our Concierge Patient Coordinator at (602) 726-6310 or email us at

Frequently Asked Questions

Question - What is a browlift or forehead lift?

A browlift, also known as a forehead lift, is a minimally invasive, endoscopic procedure performed by Dr.Christian Paquet to improve the deep wrinkles of the forehead, and elevate the drooping eyebrows that occur as we age. This will open up the area around your eyes, and provide a more youthful appearance to your upper face.

Question - Who is the best candidate for a browlift?

The best candidate is someone who is in good physical and mental health and has realistic expectations. Browlifts can be performed in patients of any age who have deep-set forehead wrinkles and lower set eyebrows.

Question - What should I expect with regards to recovery?

Due to the new, modern endoscopic technique used by Dr. Paquet, which is much less invasive than a traditional forehead lift, the recovery is much easier and shorter. All patients are functional very soon after surgery and are ready for social undertakings in less than a week. Often this procedure is completed in conjunction with a mid-facelift or a neck/lower facelift.
