Juvéderm Volbella is an advanced hyaluronic acid dermal filler specifically designed to treat the delicate skin under the eyes and around the mouth. You may be advised to avoid certain medications or supplements that can increase bruising or the risk of bleeding. Clear pre-treatment instructions will be provided to make sure you are fully prepared for treatment.

Your Juvéderm Volbella Procedure

Juvéderm Volbella treatments are performed in-office and typically take around 15 to 30 minutes. Because Volbella contains lidocaine, most patients experience minimal discomfort, but a topical numbing cream can be applied if desired. Your provider will make a series of injections in the treatment area to evenly distribute the product, creating a smooth result.

After Your Juvéderm Volbella Procedure

After treatment, it is common to experience mild swelling, redness, or tenderness around the injection sites, which usually resolves within a few hours or up to a few days. Many patients see some immediate improvement, with final results refining over the following week as the filler settles. Patients should avoid strenuous activities and sun exposure for 48 hours, but can immediately return to work and other daily activities. Specific instructions will be provided before treatment.
