In the days leading up to treatment, patients are advised to avoid alcohol consumption and blood-thinning medications that could increase the risk of bruising. We recommend that patients arrive at their appointment with clean skin free of makeup, if possible.

Restylane Refyne injections take less than 30 minutes to administer. The formula contains a numbing agent called lidocaine, but a topical anesthetic can be applied if desired for additional comfort. Once your skin is cleansed and prepared, a series of injections will be made using a fine needle. Patients experience minimal discomfort and can immediately return to work or other daily activities.
