On the day of your appointment, we ask that you arrive with a clean face and no makeup. Staying hydrated before treatment can also minimize the risk of side effects.

Your Juvéderm Ultra Procedure

Juvéderm Ultra treatments are performed in-office and typically take 15 to 30 minutes. After the skin is cleansed and prepared, the filler is carefully injected into targeted areas with a fine needle to ensure precise, even results. Most patients experience minimal discomfort, but a topical numbing cream can be applied if desired.

After Your Juvéderm Ultra Procedure

Following Juvéderm treatment, you may experience mild swelling, redness, or tenderness around the injection sites, which usually resolves within a few days. Some results are visible immediately, but will continue to improve for about one week as the filler settles.
